Welcome to our Pre-School Web site!

We are based at Carnarvon Primary School at the end of Nursery Road in Bingham, Nottinghamshire.

We have our own large indoor classroom and our own secure, fenced outdoor area.  We have full use of the school grounds which includes an 'oasis' area with pond for 'pond dipping'; a copse for exploring and hunting 'mini beasts'; an allotment for growing and harvesting our fruit and vegetables; and large playing fields giving our children the chance to take part in different sporting activities and to just have the freedom to run and exercise.

Our own secure outside area has a soft-play surface and a covered awning.  We also have a separate grassed garden area that the children can explore independently.

We offer a range of exciting activities for the children which cover all of the seven areas of learning.

The three prime areas underpin everything in the early years:

    communication and language

    physical development

    personal, social and emotional development

The four specific areas help children to strengthen and apply the prime areas:

    literacy

    mathematics

    understanding the world

    expressive arts and design

All of these areas of learning are connected and the children learn through their play.
